X-it De-Icing Salt 5 kg

X-it Spreading Salt is a high-quality spreading salt made from pure rock salt – a significantly more effective agent against slippery conditions than traditional sea salt. Thanks to an extremely low water content of only 0.3%, it clumps minimally, making it easy to spread and store. The high degree of purity also makes the product more economical, so you need less to achieve the same melting effect.
Properties of X-it Spreading Salt:

Melts ice and snow quickly – most effective down to –12 °C
93% lower water content than sea salt – less clumping
Five grain sizes for both rapid and long-lasting action
Less refreezing where salt is spread
Suitable for all spreaders thanks to grain sizes from 0.16 mm to 5 mm

The unique blend of fine and coarse salt grains means X-it Spreading Salt starts to melt ice immediately. The smallest grains start the melting process at once, while the larger grains provide a long-term effect that prevents refreezing. This makes X-it Spreading Salt ideal for stairs, driveways, walkways, parking lots, and other cold, exposed areas.
Instructions for use, for best results:

Remove as much snow as possible before salting.
Spread X-it Spreading Salt evenly over the area.
Brush away meltwater from untreated stone and concrete to avoid stains.

TIP! Keep in mind that preventive salting before freezing temperatures provides the best effect against slippery and icy surfaces.
The product is free of unnecessary additives, should be stored dry, and should not be used as food.
