You've never used an equivalent adhesive. Gorilla Glue is America's favorite because it works where other glues fail.
Gorilla Glue is 100% waterproof, tolerates high and low temperatures, weather, wind, and anything else you can imagine. It bonds stone, metal, ceramic, glass, wood, and much more.
The water-activated polyurethane formula expands into the material, creating an incredibly strong bond. Once cured, it never lets go. When fully cured, it can be sanded and painted.

– Clamp time 60 minutes.
Instructions for use
1. Moisten. Gorilla Glue adhesive cures with moisture. Lightly moisten one surface with water. Do not add water to the bottle.
2. Apply. Apply a thin layer of Gorilla Glue adhesive to the dry surface. NOTE: Do not apply too much adhesive. When the adhesive cures, it expands 3-4 times. Watch out for excess adhesive that may squeeze out.
3. Clamp. Clamp the objects together for 1-2 hours. You can use heavy objects or Gorilla Tape to achieve clamping pressure. The adhesive line improves with higher clamping pressure.
